Retail Team Leader (Permanent)

We are looking for a confident and motivated Retail Team Leader to help supervise our store team and ensure customers receive an excellent shopping experience.

You will act as a key link between the store management team and retail colleagues, helping to organise daily activities, support team members and ensure the store operates efficiently.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Retail Assistant or Supervisor looking to develop their leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the retail team during assigned shifts.
• Allocate daily tasks and ensure work is completed efficiently.
• Provide support and guidance to Retail Assistants.
• Deliver excellent customer service and lead by example.
• Assist customers with enquiries, complaints and product information.
• Support the achievement of daily and weekly sales targets.
• Monitor store standards throughout the shift.
• Ensure shelves and displays are fully stocked and well presented.
• Assist with stock deliveries and inventory checks.
• Support cash handling and till procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing the store.
• Monitor staff attendance and communicate staffing issues to management.
• Train and support new members of the team.
• Follow company policies and health & safety procedures.
• Report operational issues to the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
