Bakery Assistant (Permanent)

We are looking for a Bakery Assistant to join our team at a busy Esso fuel station and convenience store. This role focuses on preparing fresh bakery items, maintaining food quality standards, and supporting the overall retail operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and baking fresh products (pastries, hot food, and bakery items)
• Ensuring food is presented to a high standard and replenished throughout the day
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in all food preparation areas
• Following food safety, hygiene, and temperature control procedures
• Supporting stock rotation and reducing wastage
• Assisting customers with bakery and food-to-go purchases
• Working alongside the retail team to ensure smooth store operations

• Previous experience in a bakery, food-to-go, or retail environment (desirable but not essential)
