Sales Assistant (Permanent)

About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic Sales Assistants to join our busy fuel station and convenience store in Yeadon. If you are reliable, customer-focused, and enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Core Duties

• Provide friendly assistance to customers on the forecourt and in-store

• Operate tills and process cash/card transactions accurately

• Monitor and record fuel levels in storage tanks

• Restock shelves and manage inventory effectively

• Receive, check, and organise deliveries

• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised store and forecourt

• Competitive hourly rate: £12.71

• Fully compliant with UK Working Time Regulations

• Full-time positions available (Part-time considered)

• Flexible shift patterns within a 24-hour operation

• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude.

• Clear verbal and written communication abilities

• Ability to work independently and take initiative

• Strong numeracy and cash-handling accuracy

• Familiarity with POS systems (advantageous)

• Problem-solving and interpersonal skills

• Honest, dependable, and trustworthy

• Awareness of security, health, and safety standards

• Previous retail experience desirable but not essential
